The One With The Halloween Party

Episode 806

[Previous][Next][Back to the Master List]

Chandler and Monica plan a Halloween party. Phoebe bumps into Ursula and learns she's getting married. She invites Ursula and her finance (Eric) to the party, where she learns Ursula's been lying to him, about everything. Monica choses Catwoman for her costume and a big pink bunny for Chandler's. Phoebe is Supergirl; Joey is Chandler; Ross is Spudnik (or is he Doody?). Rachel is Rachel. Chandler and Ross arm wrestle to see who's toughest. It's a draw, but Chandler lets Ross win so he can impress Mona, his date. Rachel gives away all the candy to trick-or-treaters, then money, then insults.

The one where they said....

Ursula: I'm getting married next week.
Phoebe: What?
Ursula: Yeah, yeah, it's going to be a small ceremony. Just Family. His.
Phoebe: Huh. Okay. Well, I'm really happy for you.
Ursula: Wait. If, um, if you want to come, I guess that would be okay.
Phoebe: Really?
Ursula: Sure, why not. You could be my "sister" for the day.

Rachel: Monica, we need more candy.
Monica: What? There's only been, like, four kids.
Rachel: Yeah, I know, but one of them just said that she loved me, so I just gave her everything.
Phoebe: No wonder you're pregnant.

Phoebe: And I'm really, really excited for you and Ursula.
Eric: Oh, I feel very lucky. She's great. I think she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
Phoebe: Oh, thank you!

Chandler: Joey is gonna be thrilled. He was hoping you'd com by as a slutty nurse.
Mona: Actually, I'm just a nurse.
Chandler: You'd think that would embarrass me, but you see, I'm maxed out.

Phoebe: The only reason he's marrying you is because he thinks all the things you were saying about yourself are true.
Ursula: Well, they could be true.
Phoebe: But they're not.
Ursula: Yeah. It's a fine line, huh?

Eric: I am so stupid. Of course she was lying. She's not a teacher. There's no such thing as The Top Secret Elementary School for the Children of Spies.

Rachel: Oh, I am just awful with children.
Joey: Come on, you're good with kids. They're just crazy on Halloween. You know, they're all greedy and hopped-up on sugar.
Rachel: Really? You think that's all it is?
Joey: Absolutely. Halloween is the worst. Except for Christmas. And their birthdays. They get a little crazy during the summer, too. And anytime they're hungry or sleepy. Yeah, kids are tough. Good luck with that.
