Rachel buys furniture from Pottery Barn, but tells Phoebe she got it at a flea market, because Phoebe hates Pottery Barn. The deception is complicated by the fact that Ross buys an identical table from Pottery Barn. Joey and Janine spend time with Monica and Chandler; Janine doesn't like hanging out with them, and hard feelings grow and grow until Joey and Janine break up and Janine moves out.
Chandler: Oh, hey, Rachel, sweetheart? You have got to tell the post office that you
have moved, okay? We are still getting all your bills and stuff.
Rachel: Oh! Oh! Pottery Barn! You can throw the rest away.
Chandler: I'm not your garbage man. I'm your mailman.
Chandler: You okay?
Joey: Yeah. Yeah, I'll be all right.
Ross: You know what would cheer you up?
Joey: What?
Ross: I'm giving this lecture on erosion theories tomorrow night. I think you should come.
Joey [laughing]: You're right! That did cheer me up!
